So, you won't find these next two artists on Wikipedia, which goes to show how relatively new these kids are. Yes, kids. One is 16 year old producer Karamel Kel. The other is 21 year old producer, Joseph Jacobs. Okay, maybe he's not so much a kid but in the music world this is still hella young! It's amazing how talented (and smart) kids are today.
I want you guys to get to know these producers because unlike most artists today, these kids produce music that is well beyond their age. It is hard to describe what kind of music this is but imagine looking like the coolest person on the block and everyone knows you. You're walking down the street. The kids are all waving at you, the barber in the shop notices you, smiles and nods his head. You nod your head back. As people pass you by, you get more nods and smiles. Some greet you by shaking your hand, some high five you and others give you the fingerbang gesture...(Not the dirty kind)...Now imagine all this as you're walking down the street in slow motion. You can kind of imagine what kind of music it is they produce. Surely, these kids were greatly influenced by Japanese jazz/hip hop producers like the late Nujabes and Uyama Hiroto.
